9972 Intake Valve Cleaner

Throttle and Valve Cleaner is a high-performance cleaner designed to remove stubborn deposits from throttle bodies, EGR valves, turbochargers, and fuel injectors without disassembly. Its advanced formula dissolves encrustations, oil residues, contaminants, and adhesive deposits in seconds, restoring the functionality of moving components and reducing fuel consumption.
The throttle body is a fundamental component of controlled ignition internal combustion engines, regulating the airflow into the carburetor or, in fuel-injected engines, directly into the combustion chamber. Maintaining the correct air-to-fuel ratio (stoichiometric ratio of 14.7:1 in gasoline engines) is crucial for efficient engine performance. However, dirt accumulation around the throttle body can cause irregular idling and reduced efficiency, making periodic cleaning essential for optimal operation. Thanks to its excellent penetration properties, Intake Valve Cleaner reaches hard-to-access areas in the intake system without requiring disassembly. Additionally, it is neutral to most plastics, rubber, and automotive paints. Suitable for modern two-stroke and four-stroke gasoline engines, including those equipped with a catalytic converter, Intake Valve Cleaner enhances engine responsiveness, promotes cleaner combustion, and contributes to lower fuel consumption.
Properties:
- Excellent penetration properties
- Evaporates quickly and without residue
- Dissolves resinous and tar-like residues
- Removes oil- and grease-based contaminants
- Restores the functionality of all moving parts
Application:
Over time, oil and soot deposits gradually accumulate on the moving parts of throttle valves, turbochargers, and EGR valves, affecting airflow. As a result, engine RPM fluctuates in idle mode, or engine RPM drops slowly without further acceleration. In such cases, the Intake Valve Cleaner acts as a problem solver to restore original performance.
Important Application Notes:
- Ensure the engine is at operating temperature.
- If there are signs of excessive contamination in the intake manifold, throttle valves, or turbochargers, manual cleaning or disassembly is recommended before treatment.
- Do not apply before the mass airflow sensor.
- Do not apply before the intercooler.
- Do not apply to vehicles where the intercooler is integrated into the inlet manifold.
- If excessive knocking or backfire occurs during treatment, pause the application and allow the engine to idle for 3-4 minutes before recommencing treatment. If knocking persists, the intake manifold may have excessive contamination and require manual cleaning.
Throttle / Turbocharger Cleaning for Diesel Vehicles (without disassembly):
- Set engine at 1,500 – 1,800 RPM
- Apply product directly into the inlet manifold
- Spray in 1-2 second intervals, allowing the engine to stabilize in between sprays
- After 10 applications, allow the engine to idle for 3 – 4 minutes
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the contents of the can are consumed
- After treatment, carry out an Oil System Clean (Flush) and change the engine oil and filter
- Carry out a road test, not exceeding 2,500 RPM for the first 10 minutes
Throttle / Turbocharger Cleaning for Petrol Vehicles (without disassembly):
- Set engine at 2,500 – 3,000 RPM
- Apply product directly into the inlet manifold
- Spray in 4-5 second intervals, allowing the engine to stabilize in between sprays
- After 10 applications, allow the engine to idle for 3 – 4 minutes
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the contents of the can are consumed
- Carry out a road test, ensuring full use of RPM range
